Quick hike into Field, BC to pick up resupply boxes for the next section. We didn’t know what we were going to do for lodging … hostel in Lake Louise, shower then hike out and camp, ???
What a series of connections with strangers. We were offered a place to shower at a local’s house (Randall from Field, John, and wife from New Zealand). Super friendly and helpful Madonna at the icecream shop found a hostel in Lake Louise and lined up her mum to drive us. And finally had a delightful interaction with Sam from New Jersey. Oh, we met Madonna because a sweet lady from Idaho that we had met in front of the post office came back to find us and sent us her way. After all that we ended up sharing a room at the hotel connected with the Truffle Pig Bistro in Field.
